the rite of passage created & guided by Sarah Durham Wilson, a teacher of 13 years & author of the book “Maiden to Mother.”
The Maiden to Mother Method Teacher Training,
boiled down to the bones and alchemized.
Sarah created and has taught the Maiden to Mother work for eight years running, and the Teacher Training for four years.
This is an intensive 4 Month Maiden to Mother teacher training
for those who want to deepen into the Maiden to Mother work FOR THEMSELVES and/or TO learn to teach the modules of the Maiden to Mother work.
FOR those who have taken Maiden to Mother and want to deepen into the practices and learn in community- or even bring this to the world through their own GIFTS.
The bridge from Maiden to Mother
was buried.
When the Goddess & Her cultures were shattered & vilified, so too were women’s Rites of Passage into our wild, intuitive femininity and maturity.
With Maiden to Mother, artist & teacher Sarah Durham Wilson excavates these ancient rites, guiding us through a sacred and crucial initiation from the patriarchal Maiden into the archetypal Mother―the powerful, safe, compassionate, full-bloom feminine life force that exists within all of us.
Becoming the Mother is every woman’s birthright―regardless of whether or not she raises children.
The Mother is who we needed as a child, who we were meant to be in this life, and who the world needs us to be now.

⦿FOUR months of access to our Monday Virtual Meet Ups (MOTHER CHVRCH/ TEMPLE OF THE RED MOON) to Practice the Mother Work in Community
Monday meet ups are for all community members who want a chance to check in, be heard and seen and practice the Maiden to Mother work. We also center the polycrisis of genocide & ecocide & the current genocide in Palestine. Through consistent practice and reflection together, we strengthen the teachings of the mature feminine to meet the global polycrisis under white colonial capitalist patriarchy.

The Mammune is a place to post questions, comments, reflections and your process to other community members and those doing the work with you. It’s a place for students to connect and convene. This is also where you will access the schedule & all recordings & material.

We call this the aftercare portion of Maiden to Mother.
After this condensed training is over, prepare to meet again soon! These calls with Sarah are to workshop the ways you’re bringing the Maiden to Mother & rites of passage work forth in the world.
⦿for those wanting to teach, you will have the opportunity to practice teach with Sarah in THE next Teacher Training.
Just as Maiden to Mother Method will have guest and practicing teachers from last year’s Teacher Training, we will encourage you to sign up for a slot to co & practice teach with Sarah in the next Maiden to Mother Method program.
When you sign up for a co-teaching slot, you’ll meet with Sarah to prepare for your teaching call.

Living as a Rites of Passage Guide means
you are prepared to walk women
through the stages of rites of passage:
through separation/death of the Maiden
the other world/Underworld
and reintegration, the return/Mother.
Once we learn the rhythm of the rites of passage, we can hold space as all humans navigate the constant shedding and rebirth of natural life, the death of what they knew, the visit to the other/underworld, and the rise/return of them to integrate their otherworldly experience medicine and wisdom, especially of death & the dark feminine into the upper world culture.

MEET
SARAH DURHAM WILSON
Welcome.
Sarah is a mother, an artist, a mystic, a writer, a storyteller, a teacher, a tantrika, an activist and a post-patriarchal, whole-ass, revolutionary woman.
She lives on the land of the Wabanaki people, the first people of what is now called Maine. They were called “the Greeters of the Dawn.”
The light sure breaks early here, and as a mystic who loves to wake to hear Goddess, she loves that.
Sarah has been teaching women on the resurrection of the Goddess & the return to the Earth for over 13 years: and for the last 7 she’s been leading them through the resurrected rites of passage to come home to the primordial primal & powerful Mother inside.
The archetypal Mother of us all has been buried so that the feminine lost their ability to fight for life: but we need her desperately at these times to return to the front lines.
She teaches through storytelling, song, spell & ceremony in a non hierarchal, non linear way that brings women & femmes back to the power of the Mother waiting inside of them.
In 2022, Sarah published her book ‘Maiden to Mother’ with SoundsTrue.
She was also a rock & arts journalist for Rolling Stone, GQ, Vanity Fair, and Interview magazine before she worked for the Goddess. Sarah has walked the path for and with the Great Mother for 13 years now, since a Kundalini Awakening to the Mother in 2011.

ASSISTANT TEACHER
Alexandra GonzAlez
Alexandra is a decolonizing, de-centering, divesting Yoga sadhāka, somatics teacher, mystic & animist.
Her knowledge and education is rooted in the innately holistic & healing traditional & mystical Yoga and her relationship with the Mother Goddess.
She is a Rites of Passage teacher for the Maiden to Mother work and incorporates the backbone of her training in Mahāyoga, nervous system regulation, breathwork, meditation, and BodyTemple Dance (a spiritual & emotional free-form movement practice) for people bridging together the Divine & their humanness for the goal of collective liberation.
ALEXANDRA will be assistant teaching with Sarah and Community Support through the Mammune.

There are no required prerequisites prior to purchase. However, a we highly suggest either completed the Maiden to Mother Journey and/or to have read Sarah’s book, Maiden to Mother: Unlocking our Archetypal Journey into the Mature Feminine.
If you have not completed the MTM program, the self-paced digital version will be made available for you at no extra cost.

We begin on Friday September 13, 2024 at Noon est.
You can anticipate one 60-90min class per week with a blend of teaching + integration with the final closing teaching call being in January 17th, 2024.
Then three more, once a month 60min "Sit-in's with Sarah" to be scheduled after the closing call.

We never expect people to make calls live, as life is always happening and our availability / schedule / timezone will vary.
All of the training calls will be recorded and available for replay within our private community, The Mammune. We intend to post replays within 48 hours of the live call.
Access to every call will be available within the Mammune for at least 12 months after the training is complete.

The tools for Teacher Certification will be woven into the 4 month training.
Receiving a certification is optional but if you choose to receive a Teacher Certification, you will meet with one of the community teachers to assess your readiness at completion of the training and a certificate will be provided then.
You are not required to become a Maiden to Mother Teacher to take this training.
