and restoring our Feminine wisdom and lineages to restore the Feminine in the current world.
The Maiden to Mother Rites of Passage I created is the bedrock initiation work that brings us out of our false patriarchal infancy & into our true primordial feminine maturity.
The Maiden to Mother work returns us to our natural state as resilient & responsive & resourceful Archetypal Mothers.
We must become Mothers to ourselves and Mothers to this world, in a world that is crying out desperately for the wise & resilient archetypal pre-patriarchal Mother. (Pls see & read my book Maiden to Mother, on Sounds True publishing).
The Midlife Rites of Passage follows the Maiden to Mother Passage.
The Midlife Crisis, or the “dangerous opportunity,” to change our life at Midlife, is a second chance at life, when navigated in a conscious & ceremonial way.
The Midlife Rites are the Death of the false patriarchal version of you & a shattering of the persona (a Latin word for “mask”) we wore in the first act of life to survive.
These rites initiate us
to shed the old false skins
& birth the true person hiding within.
At midlife, we midwife our true life.
That old skin is was never yours,
It is tired & out grown &
You know, in your bones,
it is finally time
for a life of your own.
